Stephane Thibault

Coach Stephane Thibault's hockey journey began in the outdoor rinks of Montreal, where he spent most winter weekends immersed in the game. During the summer, street hockey became a staple of his activities. As a grown-up, Stephane continued his hockey journey, participating in adult leagues across Montreal, New Jersey, New York, and California.

However, it was when Stephane ventured into coaching that his passion for hockey reached new heights. With a coaching experience that spans over fifteen teams, ranging from 8U to 16U, Stephane brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the players at San Diego Ice Arena (SDIA). His coaching philosophy revolves around teaching fundamental skills, ensuring that players grasp the basics of the game, all while maintaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone involved. Stephane Thibault's commitment to creating a positive and skill-oriented experience reflects his passion for the development of young hockey enthusiasts at SDIA.
