Scott Forrest
Sr. Coach
Scott is committed to the progressive development of players by focusing on fundamental skills and cultivating resilience and camaraderie through the competitive nature of hockey. He firmly believes that these elements are the foundation for success both on and off the ice.
Having grown up playing hockey, Scott reached the pinnacle of junior hockey in Alberta, earning recognition as a team captain. His journey continued at the University of Virginia under the guidance of Coach Roger Voisinet, where he brought a hard-working, physical approach to defense, leading to consecutive all-conference selections.
After two seasons at U.Va., Scott took a hiatus from the game to concentrate fully on his education and career. It wasn't until two decades later, during an impromptu pond hockey session on Lake Louise, that his passion for hockey reignited. Despite discovering the rust that had accumulated over the years, Scott couldn't resist the opportunity to contribute to passing on the valuable lessons that hockey had imparted to him, now to the next generation.
