Rebecca Green

Sr. Coach

Rebecca Green's hockey journey began at SDIA and extended to various rinks in San Diego during her formative years. Throughout high school, she played travel hockey for the LA Lions, marking a significant chapter in her hockey endeavors. Following her passion, Rebecca returned to SDIA with aspirations to follow in her father's coaching legacy.

With a vision for the future, Rebecca aims to break barriers by getting more girls involved in the sport of hockey. As an assistant coach for her dad's in-house bantams team, she actively contributes to fostering a love for the game among young players. Her ultimate goal is to coach an all-girls team, emphasizing inclusivity and empowerment in the realm of hockey.

Currently, Rebecca not only plays adult hockey at SDIA but also serves as an assistant coach alongside her dad, who leads the in-house bantams. Through her involvement, she aspires to be a role model for young girls who share her passion for the game, reminding them that it's all about having fun on the ice.
