Mike Langridge

Coach Mike Langridge, a Southern California native with a hockey journey spanning over 25 years, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the SDIA community. In 2002, he embraced the San Diego area and explored opportunities to play in local, regional, and international tournaments.

Mike's coaching philosophy revolves around core values of family, effort, and dedication to the game. Recognizing that hockey not only offers a platform to play a beloved game but also fosters lifelong friendships akin to an extended family, Mike emphasizes the importance of positive team dynamics.

In his three years at SDIA, Mike has taken on a pivotal role, coordinating the Mites league and coaching both in-house and tournament-based teams. His leadership contributed to a notable achievement – a Championship banner at the California State Games in 2020. Mike's commitment extends beyond the ice rink, instilling values of effort and dedication that translate into success on and off the hockey arena.
